As a Human Resources Specialist at PCS Mobile Solutions, you will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: sourcing; screening and of sales representatives and store management by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) for wireless retail store locations in a high volume multi-unit multi-state environment.  In addition, the Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for ionboarding of all new hires; new hire orientation; Management of key processes via HRIS, LMS and performance management systems; HR key metric analysis and reporting, among other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate must possess considerable skill in sourcing candidates, a good knowledge of wireless retail sales, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of human resources process as well as personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.



  • Partners with VP HR and/ or hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Sources candidates using traditional and non-traditional resources inclusive of internet-based sourcing to identify qualified sales representatives and management for stores.
  • Screens resumes, administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
  • Develops sourcing processes to ensure high visibility and access to potential candidates
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Develops and maintains internal staffing and succession plans to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Maintains employee referral program.
  • Conducts orientation of new employees.
  • Completes weekly report on employment activity.
  • Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees.
  • Maintains HRIS, LMS, and Performance Management systems inclusive of 30,60, 90 day reviews; team member communications and sign off, as well as reporting to insure compliance.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities




This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.  




This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.




This position requires up to 10% travel




  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • PHR preferred.
  • Three plus years high volume recruiting experience in a multi-unit multi state retail store sales environment.
  • Internet based sourcing experience.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, social and networking sites and candidate databases to source candidates timely.
  • Experience managing staffing and succession plans.
  • Strong knowledge of Title VII; FLSA; ACA; ADA; OSH Act; FMLA;ADEA; NLRA; GINA; USERRA; INA, etc.
  • Experience conducting reference checks and background checks.
  • HRIS and LMS management experience.
  • Performance Management System experience (inclusive of team member reviews; communications, feedback).
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word ,Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher in Windows environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Experience with HR KPI Scorecard Reporting.
  • Experience Strong work ethic.




  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • HRIS experience.
  • PHR Certified Professional credential.
